Our accommodations are designed to provide a “surprising luxury” experience in an off-grid, sustainable setting. Whether you are staying in one of our cabins or suites, you’ll find comfortable beds topped off with handmade quilts, as the northern lights dance above the barrens.
Every cabin features:

Explore the features of our individual cabins and suites below. Please note that private toilets are available in the majority of our accommodations. As we continue to upgrade our facilities, some suites (like the Ptarmigan Suite) offer a comfortable, classic experience while awaiting their modern retrofit.
Our Five Guest Cabins
Aurora Cabin – Our deluxe guest cabin features a queen bed, couch, and reading chair. Amenities include a dresser, potable water stand, heater, and en-suite washroom. Enjoy a private dining area, coffee station, and incredible views of Point Lake.
The Bear Den – is a spacious cabin with one queen and three single beds. Includes custom luggage storage, vanity, and heater. The enclosed porch offers plenty of room for fishing gear and a comfortable area to process photos or watch the aurora.
The Wolf Den – is a relaxing retreat with one queen and two single beds. Features an en-suite washroom, custom luggage storage, and heater. The enclosed porch offers plenty of room for fishing gear and a comfortable area to process photos or watch the aurora.

| The Solstice Cabin comprises of adjoining Sunrise and Sunset suites. Each suite opens on onto a shared wrap around enclosed porch, a premier vantage point for panoramic barrenland views and dancing northern lights. Outfitted with a comfortable couch and bar height seating, this sunroom is the perfect place to gather with fellow guests or retreat for a quiet moment. This cabin is ideal for families or friends travelling together. |
Sunset Suite is a cozy suite offering refined comfort with a queen bed and plush reading chair. It is fully appointed with two night stands, a dresser, desk & chair for creative work, potable water stand, thermostat controlled heater and private en-suite washroom.
Sunrise Suite similar to the sunset suite, offer refined comfort, featuring a queen and a single bed. It is fully appointed with a night stand, dresser, desk & chair, potable water stand, thermostat controlled heater, en-suite washroom with toilet & vanity.

| This Ptarmigan Suite is scheduled for a renovation to match the rustic luxury of our other cabins. Currently it remains a comfortable option for guests who prefer private accommodation when our other cabins and suites are fully booked. Located adjacent to the lodge’s culinary creator, guests often enjoy ‘kitchen perks’ for those that stay here. The suite is reached via a shared wrap around enclosed porch, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. |
Ptarmigan Suite. Named after the hearty bird pictured here, this functional suite features two twin beds, a luggage cabinet and vanity. It has a desk and chair, potable water stand, and heater – it’s favourite for our expert program leaders.
