Capture the beauty of the Barrenlands

Arctic Photography Workshop

Off the beaten path, away from crowds, get close to wildlife and nature.

Beyond the City of Yellowknife lies the incredible barrenlands – a place where very few Northwest Territories residents have experienced. It’s remarkable in its own right with incredible fishing, majestic beauty and history. In the fall the land transforms colours, wildlife and birds can be seen on their migration south which providing incredible stunning photography opportunities. Our Arctic Photography Workshop is timed this the change of the season. It is also designed for all levels of photographers, and small groups ensure you get one-on-one time for photography instruction and mentoring. Of course, you’re welcome to be self-directed, active engagement with our instructor and fellow guests are encouraged.

Come see the extraordinary land transform into vibrant autumn colours, be on the look out for migratory wildlife and watch the night sky blaze with northern lights.

This program is not exclusive to photographers. It’ open to people interested in an extended barrenlands experience.

See our Arctic Photography Workshop Page for full details.
